AMWin-RP Double scrobbling

Version Info AMWinRP v1.4.9 AM 1.5.2.62 (1.1282.15873.0)

Describe the bug I noticed that most, but not all, of my listens have started double scrobbling recently. I'm not sure what could be causing it as there doesn't seem to be any pattern, as far as I can tell.

Same problem. Edit: Seems like it double scrobbles occasionally and sometimes deletes the other scrobble after a song plays. Seems like it might have to do with song length? Shorter songs didn't double scrobble but I have no clue.

the issue seems to be when a song is >= 4 minutes long, the scrobble is triggered at half the song length AND when it reaches 4 minutes, where that should only happen once (see https://www.last.fm/api/scrobbling#when-is-a-scrobble-a-scrobble) sometimes, however, the other scrobble disappears from last.fm by itself sometimes?? not all the time tho??? very, very confusing

For me its not just long songs. Had it happen on songs that are a minute long too.

I had issues with all lengths of songs and they seemed to scrobble twice in very quick succession. It's not an issue for me now either, but I thought I'd share in case it came back at some point

adding onto this, also experiencing this issue since a couple days ago. if it means anything, i use am rich pres with music presence.. but if this is happening to other people using amwin-rp standalone.. i dont think its just a me issue lol

Yep, also seeing double and sometimes triple scrobbles via Apple Music. Realized I was using an out of date version of the app, installed the latest, and was still seeing the issue.

same, sadly. only seems to have happened (for me at least) in the last few days

EDIT: wondering if this is an issue with last.fm's API perhaps. I noticed just now that, when trying a different scrobbler (last.fm scrubbler), it was not doing the double-scrobbles, but rather was struggling to do regular scrobbles - the "now playing" works right away, but then having the actual proper scrobble appear takes minutes
