I don't really understand what you mean by animated but I'll try and give you and answer.

It animates when toggling between fold and unfold and there's a fast animation when closing the panel.

But I believe you're referring to your animated icon when meteor is working. This should be as easy as just setting the title to raw html with an animated icon when you wan't to show an animated gear and then setting the title to the original title with the static meteor logo when there's no work being done.

There's still some work needed from the package, i.e. states to easier check if panel is hidden or shown but it's coming. The nice thing about it is the more packages using it the more unified the look and feel of addon packages panels will be.

Sounds nice. I like the unified look and I would like to make Atom more "animated". I'll definitely have a look into it. Thanks again.
