At 37% in, the rest of the file looks like garbage.

That's not to say that's it must be garbage. However, it's left as an exercise to the reader to analyze the data to see if something useful can be extracted.

This file corresponds to <mdl.int>primit.mid.

The garbage at the end appears to be from some version of @ ITS, starting at SEARL4.

Thanks! There are exactly 2K words of text at the start of the file, followed by 3K of binary data. The file timestamp is 1972-09-12. The closest ITS version is 763 from 1972-09-11. The code seems close to ITS 785 on the same tape, ToTS 3100015 or AI 1037.
