RSS feed widget not working

I have https://nodejs.org/en/feed/blog.xml added as a feed. When I go to the settings and try to force it to fetch items and error is displayed saying that the "api is no longer supported." But I can add the same feed to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/slick-rss/ealjoljnibpdkocmldliaoojpgdkcdob and it will be retrieved and displayed correctly.

Yes it stopped working, I just have not had the time to fix it. I need to rewrite the module from scratch since there are a few more bugs that need to be fixed. Also when I rewrite I would need to work a lot more with various feed formats, something I avoided with the google solution.
