customs modules

Allos customr modules for e.g. gaming groups etc.

@x-cessive It is an interesting thought to have custom modules and would allow other to use it as such them selves. Some thoughts:

  • RSS feed for news, since adding text makes the loading slower over time of the app. The RSS module could be modified to load generic RSS feeds
  • For any other links just badges at the bottom.

Chrome support having apps communicate with each other, so you you could build your own plugins and Practical Startpage loads them. Not sure how but it there are a few apps that do that today.

Disadvantage of branching is that you loose out on any new development, and need to carefully merge everytime there is a feature you want to pick up.
