[BUG]: Twisted Metal: Head On
Describe the Bug
Once every 10-15 minutes, there is a freeze frame lasting about a quarter second. This is a significant issue, as this is a competitive game. I've tried just about every fix, as well as adjusting EE cyclerate and video settings. Besides this, the game runs perfectly. I have confirmed this with other players, and YouTube footage as well. If anyone could look into this and provide a fix, the Twisted Metal Community would be eternally grateful. Tested on 1.60, 1.7.3085, 1.7.3334, and 1.7.3342.
Specs are 3080, 12900K, and 32GB of DDR5
Reproduction Steps
Load up the Los Angeles map, and simply drive around until you experience the freeze frame. It will repeat every 10-15 minutes. It won't show on the basic monitoring software, so you'll have to see it with your eyes

What do you see in the program log when it happens ?
The game is known to have cop2 sync issues. compile a developer build, and post what happens in the program log.

Yes, it is still an issue on the latest nightly, same behavior
Seems to happen during readbacks when the sun is on screen but otherwise I can't reproduce it.
I seem to have observed the same issue whenever the BGM changes or loops! :o
can this be rechecked because this seems fine as of 1.7.5541
Tested as of 1.7.5624 and can not reproduce, no freeze frame, hitching or anything to that ilk.
Will check again tonight with the new build

Still present, seems to correspond with the music looping as others have mentioned
