[BUG] Force Feedback and steering resistance on 1.7 dev builds

Open DeityGT4 opened this issue 4 years ago • 4 comments

Describe the bug Zero force feedback on latest 1.7 dev builds and very high steering resistance w/ no centering. Game tested on is Gran Turismo 4.

To Reproduce: Using a Logitech G29 with "Driving Force Pro" setting. Any gain or force multiplier setting will do.

Expected behavior: Wheel should be returning to center and should not be very difficult to turn. There should be minimal steering resistance when scrolling though menus as that's the normal behavior.

Thanks for creating the issue. Hopefully, @CookiePLMonster has some input (slight pun intended). I had them try a dev build before your FF pr and they stated that there is no FF image

Auto-center is explicitly listed in the USB implementation as "to do", so that doesn't surprise me. Force Feedback strength should be correct, though.

Can this be tested again on latest master?
