Description of the issue: When the credits are playing, the credits display begins to flicker. Also the console is flooded with "Vif1: Unknown VifCmd! [3f]"
How to reproduce the issue: Play the game and earn at least $5000 so the credits begin to play.
Well, if these errors are not fatal, you should ignore them. If you want to know, the PS2PS4 emu have a setting that hide Unknow CMD errors (for a performance reason). Humm, maybe you can try to change the EE/IOP clamping mode to see if this does anything.
Changing the clamping mode does nothing. Also, I'm not emulating on ps4.
Maybe other people could reproduce this if you provided a save state shortly before the issue reproduced and a block dump of the credits.
If someone can manage to get to the credits with the PAL version, I would like to have a savestate before please.
is this still an issue ? if so can someone post a savestate :slightly_smiling_face:
This issue is still present at v1.7.3073.
When the Vif1: Unknown VifCmd! [3f] log is spammed:
Both of color effects and credits don't render.
Sometimes the log spams stop and the screen renders correctly:

Block dump of NTSC-J version (because of file size, the dump is split into 2 files.) and save state (BGM and SE are muted) CrazyTaxiBlockDumpPart1.zip CrazyTaxiBlockDumpPart2.zip SLPM-62102 (8C78493E).01.zip
So, the EE Timing Fix resolves the console spam and makes the credits show (renders correctly?), providing Instant VU or MTVU is enabled, there seems to be a sync issue in writes from VIF and running VU! which seems to be partially the cause of this problem, but what it is exactly, I don't know, and haven't looked deeply in to it.
The credits do seem to suffer a lot from pop in, but I'm not 100% sure if that's just how the game is or if it's PCSX2 bugs. It only seems to be when loading the assets, so I'm inclined to say it's the game.
I played another map and watched the credits with EE Timing Hack enabled. During the gameplay, I didn't encounter any new problem, and the credits rendered correctly. I never saw Unknown VifCmd logs.
