[BUG]: Prince of Persia: Warrior Within - Fast fire effects, crappy blur & blocky graphical artifacts on the ground

Describe the Bug

There are several graphical bugs that a player can experience on the very first level of Warrior Within:

  1. Flames are glitched, possible due to some FPS issues: they move really fast. In addition, standing next to fire sources creates a very crappy low-resolution blur effect, not present in the PC version of the game:

There's a pnach patch made by fobes on the PCSX2 Discord which is supposed to disable this blur, but it does nothing in my game even though I enable the patch in the emulator settings.

  1. While moving on the ship deck, one can see flickering blocky shadows:

They are only present in Hardware mode, the bug seems to be fixed by launching the game in Software mode.

Reproduction Steps

Just launch the first level and see for themselves. The low-res blur can be visible while standing next to fire, which in turn looks like it is fast-forwarded. The blocky graphical artifacts on the ground reveal themselves when you move Prince around.

Expected Behavior

I want the fire effects to be rendered correctly, the blur disabled and redundant shadows on the ground removed.

Align to native breaks the shadows when upscaling, align to native with texture offset seems fine, someone should update the gamedb.

Someone was looking in to the upscaling for prince of Persia games, I think Jordan might be aware, but you gotta be careful, some modes break stuff with ATNWTO (like light occlusion). I don't know if this is one of those.

Yeah in my testing I'd say it's best to set Prince of Persia Warrior Within and The Two Thrones to WTO. The shadows break in those two with ATN. The first game is fine with ATN.
