@lee1043 the beginnings of our new obs is at: /p/user_pub/pmp/pmp_obs/PMPObs/pmpobs1-5-1/atmos/mon/pr/GPCP-2-3/gn/v20180706 .... however, what you need is the annual cycle climatology of this data. You can use as a place holder /work/gleckler1/processed_data/obs/atm/mo/pr/GPCP/ac/pr_GPCP_000001-000012_ac.nc I will start working on the annual cycle climatolgies of the new database.

/p/user_pub/pmp/pmp_results/tree_v0.3/pmp_v1.1.2/metrics_results/monsoon/monsoon_wang/cmip5/historical/092618

This should include observations in both, and an MPI_area_average in the metrics.
