You can travel from EU to US using /rtp

This makes no sense, because you can't use /server EU mini01

I think this is intentional, its actually very useful (especially for mods)

@amactus I know, the purpose of this issue is not to revoke the permission to do /rtp from us to eu, but to allow people to do /server EU capture.

Also we did some tests with eudaldca, and https://github.com/OvercastNetwork/Issues/issues/2206 is basically the same bug (when you click in chat, it does /server US/EU [server clicked])

The ability to do /rtp across networks when you don't have the permission is a bug. /server is working correctly, /rtp isn't.

Just out of interest, why do you not want to allow travelling between US and EU servers? Does bungee break? Do you not want people crying out lag when they switch to a server on the other side of the world?

I feel what Tito suggested makes more sense and segregates the player base less.
