Overview

Mashup of Bed Wars and Bridge game modes where 2 teams complete in a series of rounds. Win by destroying the enemy bed 5 times. Map resets and cages used for all rounds after initial round.

Bed Rush - What is it?

Bed Rush is in the name: you have to rush the enemy's bed and destroy it. Once the bed has been destroyed, you score a point, the whole map resets, and all teams respawn in their spawn area. The game continues in rounds until one team reaches the required number of points to win. But Bed Rush is much more than that!

Why Bed Rush in particular?

"Bed Rush" is a unique game mode that stands out from other games in terms of gameplay and map design, although it can be similar to other mini-games in concept. It is inspired by several game modes such as bridge, bed wars, and sky wars. The gameplay style focuses on team fights with sword vs. sword, using strategy to reach the bed by digging down from the bridge, leveraging map structures, making clutches, etc. The game is designed to be fun, competitive, and suitable for everyone, regardless of their playstyle: defenders, attackers, casual players, builders, etc. Bed Rush is an action-intensive game that happens very quickly and frequently, and it can last a long time just as easily as it can end quickly.

The Identity of Bed Rush

For it to be considered Bed Rush: All Bed Rush games will always have polished sandstone blocks to bridge with. Armor is always leather, no chainmail, gold, or diamond armor (enchantment is the key to modifying armor defense/the leather chestplate armor stays brown). All weapons and tools are generally made of iron. No bows, but usually guns are possible in rare cases. Bed Rush maps: You need to be able to get to the enemy's bed without too much difficulty (for example, there are just 10 blocks to place for a bridge to the enemy's bed, which is easy). You can break everything except obsidian blocks, which are unbreakable in this game mode. The maximum height is where the teams will spawn.

Vision of Bed Rush

Bed Rush will be action-intensive in every possible way. As the players' spawn is at the maximum height limit, it will be normal to start by bridging at this height limit, creating a platform to the middle (you can temporize by spleefing enemies) until you meet the opponent in front, and maintain or dominate in team fights sword vs. sword. Coordinating the rhythm to temporize the opponent by eating a golden apple while your teammate helps and follows in succession will be decisive in this game mode. Rushers must be smart and fast to reach the bed directly, knowing how to bridge both sides of the obsidian wall by creating vertical or horizontal bridges in a creative way to destabilize the opponent by placing boats to pass through the defenders, or by hiding and advancing slowly but surely to reach and destroy the bed, either under the map or by making a tunnel. Defenders must be creative to protect the bed for as long as possible, or even ensure that the opponent never reaches it, by crafting buttons and placing them on both sides of the wall, making wooden barriers and placing them all around the bed, setting up craft tables, etc., so that opposing attackers will have a hard time getting through. Builders are players who want to relax by breaking up all the terrain/blocks and solidifying the platform (by putting wood and polished sandstone together) for attackers and defenders, making it harder for attackers to cross easily to reach the bed.

History of Bed Rush Lore

Long ago, in a kingdom suspended among the clouds, several floating islands were home to prosperous civilizations. These islands were connected by bridges made of polished sandstone, and at the heart of each island was a magical bed. These beds, endowed with mysterious powers, were the source of life for the inhabitants of each island. As long as the bed remained intact, the inhabitants could be reborn after every battle. However, if the bed was destroyed, it would spell the end for the island's defenders. To aid the defenders in protecting their beds, the gods erected obsidian walls around the beds. These unbreakable structures provided a critical advantage, allowing defenders to focus on repelling attackers without worrying about their beds being easily destroyed. Bed Rush quickly became a test of strategy, skill, and teamwork. Warriors from all islands trained tirelessly, perfecting their combat techniques and devising clever tactics to outsmart their opponents. Some specialized in direct assaults, while others excelled in defense or in building intricate fortifications to protect their beds. The game attracted a diverse range of participants: brave defenders who stood guard over their beds, swift attackers who launched daring raids on enemy territory, and ingenious builders who created elaborate defenses to thwart their foes. Each match was a thrilling display of action and strategy, with players using every resource at their disposal to achieve victory. Through Bed Rush, the islanders celebrated their heritage, showcased their skills, and strengthened the bonds within their communities. The game became a symbol of resilience and unity, reminding everyone that even in the fiercest battles, cooperation and ingenuity could lead to triumph. And so, the legacy of Bed Rush lived on, inspiring new generations to take up the challenge, defend their beds, and strive for glory in the floating kingdom among the clouds.
