[Suggestion] Change the ESlyrics panel to OpenLyrics
It seems https://github.com/jacquesh/foo_openlyrics at this point is the only actively maintained lyric panel plugin for foobar and it has plenty of search scripts already in place. Based on my personal experience, it works way better than ESlyric. I'm wondering if there's a chance to switch from ESLyric to Openlyrics. Or if possible, any instruction on how to modify the theme to use openlyric instead is more than welcome!
Looks like ESlyrics has no update for a long time. In lyrics panel window it just display can't find any lyrics.
ESL has not been updated for a long time because the lyric scrolling effect has not met the author's expectations, and finally the author has started from scratch and written a new version, the lyrics scrolling effect is more silky, but the configuration is no longer compatible with the old version!!! Because it is all written in spare time, updates are slower. If someone is willing to try the new version, they can replace the corresponding file in the backup copy and test it. Since it is still in the testing stage, the menu is not in English, but according to the old version of the usage habits, you can also guess what the menu means. Eole v1.2.3b19 with ESL v0.5.2.zip

do you have a pointer to the new version of ESL?
The author has actually added a link to the site on the ESL settings page. Or search for ESLyric on the GitHub site and you'll find it.
I didn't find any active repo updated in two years on github.

Thank you for informing us. Looks like the author just created account few days ago. Good to know he/she is still updating it.
Looks like 0.5.2.118 has been available on the ESLyric site for about a month. Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware in case it can be integrated! :D
