Keyboard shortcuts issue

Open beastie1 opened this issue 9 years ago • 2 comments

I'm trying to set some single-key shortcuts to be similar to Opera but it seems the entire numpad is not recognized.

The numpad's asterisk for Zoom Original doesn't work, but Shift+8 works. The numpad's "-" for Zoom Out doesn't work, but the one under the function keys works. The numpad's "+" for Zoom In doesn't work, but the one under the function keys (Shift+=) works.

Is this a Qt issue or what?

Kind of, but maybe something could be done about that. A bit related tickets: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=183458 https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-20191

It seems that they managed to fix it in KDE, but the issue is that the solution appears to be quite complex: https://phabricator.kde.org/R278:32526718eae99ccb594360627586eebdf793372b
