Open and close c2play often

Hi, I am a heavy raspberry-omxplayer user and I would like to try to test odroid c-2. On the raspberry the cli video player (omxplayer) is needing 0.1 seconds to open after closing it what about the timing of c2play with ubuntu or ubuntu core on odroid-c2?

I have not measured the time. However, other users have reported that there is a delay. The media being played (codecs, container) and how 'correctly' its encoded will affect the duration.

ok, for example omxplayer on raspberry is needing about 0.1 seconds.. The important is that it is smooth between videos or between eahc video loop and not creating noise like instead for example vlc does.
