Any plans to publish as a nuget-beta?

As far as I understand this indexing functionality is not published as a nuget package yet. Maybe you aware whether there are plans to publish it as a nuget in beta version and whether there is a timeline for this?

Previously I saw somewhere that this project is supposed to be handled by the community not MS itself. Maybe it makes sense to create a bunch of issues in up-for-grabs state in order to make it clear where we are and what should be done later?

As far as I know, nobody is actively working on it. If there's enough interest and energy in the community to move it forward, that would be great to see.
