[FR]: Gaussian Splatting Rendering
Hi,
I'm looking for an optimize Gaussian Splatting viewer currently the top 3 most performant GS renderer are:
- https://github.com/cvlab-epfl/gaussian-splatting-web (WebGPU but slow)
- https://huggingface.co/spaces/cakewalk/splat (WebGL)
- https://gsplat.tech/ (WebGL)
With the last one being the best.
Are you planning to add support for GS in orillusion ? If not can you give me insight about implementing this in Orillusion so I can try by myself and eventually make a PR here ^^
Thanks for your attention about orillusion! We have discussed this issue in our regular meetings and we are trying to provide this feature in our milestone plan but it will not be done in the near future.
As ORILLUSION is a pure Open Source project under MIT lisence. It will be very helpful if you could do some contributions about this FR. We could provide necessary support.
