Freeze on Player menu

I have the correct version installed, as it does show up and seem to work fine. But when i click the "Player" menu on the top ribbon, the game freezes and will not recover from it and I have to relaunch the game. Also I have used the SDK before for some sandbox mayhem, and the "Assets" menu is nowhere to be found, and I really miss it.

Game version is the latest Steam version of 2025-12-17
