xbox Controller problem

When I click on NPC mode or some of the mod options in the mod menu, my controller starts behaving strangely. I can no longer run, shoot, open my inventory, or perform any basic actions. Additionally, my controller sensitivity drops to the lowest possible setting, making it very difficult to play. This issue didn’t occur yesterday, and everything was working perfectly fine. I’ve only installed about two mods, but they should be unrelated to this issue—unless I’m mistaken. I haven’t changed any settings, so I’m not sure what’s causing this sudden problem. Could you please help me figure out how to fix this?
