[1.12.2] Constant sound engine crash

Mod Version: 3.6.10 for Minecraft 1.12.2

Forge Version: 14.23.5.2859

Description: Sometimes, the sound engine completely breaks: nothing can be heard at all except for a few sounds (in most cases, footsteps). I must either restart the game or reload the audio driver for the sounds to work once again. The glitch is very dangerous, as hostile monsters can show up unexpectedly behind the player and kill him. It seems that it frequently occurs when travelling on long distances through many biomes. This glitch is similar to #185, which was supposed to be fixed ?...
