Conflict with Sound Filters

Open Forturian opened this issue 3 years ago • 4 comments

Conflict with Sound Filters. I noticed one peculiarity that the echo from the Sound Filters mod is interrupted by the ambient from the dynamic surrounds. I turned off the ambient in the caves and the echo became operational, but I'm wondering how to make it so that they do not conflict?

It works for me just fine if you have ALL of the sound mechanics turned on: Enhanced Sounds, Mono conversion, Occulsion. From my experience both mods do not conflict, but both appley to the sound. If you still feel like they cancel eachother out, Sound Filters has its config file. You can increase the reverb value there.

Also depends on version of DS. If you are using the latest 1.16.4 it should auto-disable enhanced sound processing when Sound Filters is installed. Which version of DS are you using?

I am using Dynamic Surroundings 3.6.2.1 version for 1.12.2 minecraft. My problem is that the "underground" ambience from the dynamic surroundings conflicts with the sound filters. Because of this ambient, the echo from the sound filters is interrupted by scraps, but if this ambient is turned off, then everything becomes normal. However, I don't want to turn it off, I want everything to work together.
