Unable to disable certain footsteps

So, uh... I wanna disable the dynamic surroundings footstep overrides for, like, pretty much every block in a certain mod. However, I have no idea how to do that without completely disabling footsteps as a whole. Any ways to do this? The mod is Caves & Cliffs Backport, by the way.

Oh, and also... it's still telling me that biomes is not hooked up :(
