Delete historical activiti data previous to a specific date/time

It can be really handy to have a new entery to share/alfresco admin tool with the option to delete all historical activiti data previous to a selectable date/time .... Such a feature can be useful both in prod and prototyping/staging environments !

I recently had to do something like this myself and was forced to resort to [DB manipulation}(https://gist.github.com/AFaust/4afeda535f3acd18f7fa8674ae5b2c5d), which always involves a tiny but deadly chance of a mistake that deletes important data. So this is a good idea if we can find a clean and admin friendly way of performing cleanup, while still avoiding potential Alfresco hiccups (e.g. problems deleting workflows from an older version of Alfresco) and also cleaning up associated structures (the obsolete workflow packages).
