Changes not applying

I have noticed for a few days now, or the last month, that the changes I apply in NVIDIA Profile Inspector, despite being applied and not giving an error (similar to what happened some time ago), are applied without errors, however, the changes are not applied in the driver. I noticed this mainly when trying to apply maximum performance in "Power Management - Mode: Prefer maximum performance". Although it appears to be applied, besides not causing maximum performance in the game, it is possible to notice in the NVIDIA control panel that nothing I applied in the Profile Inspector was actually applied. I am already aware that the NVIDIA App overrides the Profile Inspector settings, and I even decided not to use it to only use the NVIDIA Profile Inspector. I have already installed several other driver versions, however, it still does not work. I am using the latest version of the application (2.4.0.29), however, the problem was already occurring with "2.4.0.19".
