Not working with php 7

When using php version 7 I get

"Cannot use 'String' as class name as it is reserved in xxx/lib/Cake/Utility/String.php on line 25"

guessing its related to this https://github.com/cakephp/cakephp/issues/7573 looks like Cake needs to be updated.

It's been a year and a half since the ticket has been created. These days Orange Scrum doesn't work anymore on any actively supported PHP version and there hasn't been any update by the Orange Scrum team for at least half a year. I guess the open source version has reached ìts end of life?

The version of CakePHP is 2.4, needs to be upgraded to support PHP7
