not working properly
the videos are not playing at the right speed. they play in super slow mode like 0.25 speed. even when i set playback speed to 4.
also, how are you getting these videos? how can i get the 4K videos? everything included is low quality and highly compressed.
The videos are naturally slow, but I don't think that is the problem. Here is a list of the Apple TV videos someone else put together. The videos should be either downloading or streaming from Apple's servers. I would check your computer usage (CPU, disk, and network); let me know if any of them are bottlenecking.
downloaded 1.2.1 everything still plays choppy. i downloaded the videos from that link and have been playing them for the past year without issue. when i play the cached video file they also play normally. they only play choppy when played through your app. there is no bottleneck in task manager i'm running an overpowered gaming desktop. all system usage is less than 5% except for memory which is 25%.
