Closing App makes it impossible to get App (Apple) Menu back.

New version of app 5.4.2 losses the App menu (on the top of MacOS) after you close it for the first time. Closing the app leaves it running in the background but the blue dot (if keep on dock set) disappears and reopening the message app never brings the App menu back up on the Apple menu at the top. 5.4.0 did not have this issue. Something is up here.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open App
  2. Set App to "Keep in Dock"
  3. Click on X to close app
  4. App is still running but blue dot disappears from Dock icon.
  5. Clicking the app in the dock open app again but you can never get the app menu back at the top menu without using Activity Monitor to kill and restart the app.

Expected behavior I expect the App to have an App menu when it is open at the top of the OS.

Mac OS Ventura 13.6.2

Started when I upgrade the App from a previous version today. Reverting till fixed.

I'm encountering the same issue here with the latest release 5.4.2.

Same here. How do you revert this behaviour?
