App Badge

Open codymac73 opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

I recently started getting this indicator badge on the app icon randomly. It doesn't happen when I get a new message and when I click on the app, the icon goes away but reappears later.

To Reproduce Simply use the app on Windows 11.

Expected behavior It would be cool if this told me when there was a new message, but that's not what's happening. I've triple-checked and there are no new messages.

This started happening to me today as well on MacOs Monterey 12.6.1

Same here on MacOS Ventura 13.0.1. Refreshing the Electron window and uninstall/reinstall don't fix it either.

I started getting that yesterday and decided to just keep it in the notification area instead of open in the taskbar all the time. Now when I do have it open it is just a default icon. image

I honestly do not know what this is. Maybe some sort of windows 11 feature instead of the windows 10 orange flashing?
