Discord server / any other communication channel to discuss lab with other pentesters
Hi @Mayfly277 , thank you for making this lab, its awesome! so much ready options, vectors of attacks, and customization :) For me as beginner pentester it would be really great to have ability to discuss some techniques applied specifically to this lab; and I think it may be beneficial for many guys here :) Any chance you will create Discord server/channel for this? I'm ready to do it as well, if that's okay
Hello @lazermann111 this could be a nice idea. i will think about it and will discuss about this with my colleagues. I am not sure to have the time to manage a discord server and I'm afraid that it will turn into a support server ^^ May be we could try and see. Anyway if you want to contact me on discord : mayfly#2992
i would say don't make it as support server. What we can do, we can create discord server and let people discuss AD exploitation/research there.
Hello I am realy new to git and not sure how to get along right. Great LAB GOAD v2 my problem is i created a local install via gitclone on a windows 11 host with virtual box and vagrant installed on it, but ansible works out of a WSL linux ubuntu machine on the windows 11 host, for now it worls locally, with all tools (ansible, vagrant, python, pip) on a newer version than used in GOAD v2. I am strugling with SQL server bug for now, but this will be fixed.
My Question is: is there a need of a Windows fork here? I modified a lot but i dont wanna mess up here on git. i am also evaluating the lab on a linux host and will also do this baremetal on proxmox via export function of virtualbox. or is it not neccessary and i can try , do and createfurther on my own?
THX for answer.
Can you post your fork on github ? i have no windows host to test by now, but regarding all the issue raised for windows, even if it is not supported i think i will take a look when i get the time to do it ^^ Please send me the link to your modifications i am curious to see what is going wrong and how you fixed it. After that we could make pull request for all or if it is too different an official fork for windows ;)

Hello! I'm trying to make it work on Win 10 with... vmware. It would be so cool to see your changes please!
BTW, thanks for the great job devs!

If you find a solution to provision VM's oVM Workstation or ESXI, Please give us some news.
@Mayfly277 any news regarding the ESXi support ? i'm still at school and dont really have time to experiment such things actually. But provisionning VMs on Type 1 Hypervisor would be so great
ok let's give a try to a discord channel : https://discord.gg/NYy7rsMf3u
