Optikey Symbol: Change transparency in sleep mode

Open MoJou90 opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Hello, in order to navigate between pages and calmly read the description of buttons, the sleep button can be used to stop the inputs. An eyetracker will then no longer be active on the buttons.

Unfortunately, when sleep mode is acive, all bottons are very dark. Reading the botton lables then is very exhausting.

Is it possible to disable the graying out of the buttons?

Regards Mojou90

I imagine we could add this as a user preference, like how you can set the opacity. @JuliusSweetland ?

Yes agree. This could be a new setting.

One note to consider is that their is some additional behavior in dynamic keyboards that could interfere depending on your approach: On dynamic keyboards I set the KeyDisabledOpacity to the same value as any opacity override the key may be inheriting. I also auto-fade the key disabled background and foreground if there are background or foreground overrides.
