after computer update this morning could not connect to open vpn - got working changing to TCP

Using openvpn on ubuntu 22.04 on a inspiron 3640. on a wap. It was working reliably for about a week. This morning it asked if I want to install updates and reboot. After rebooting, the openvpn would not work. after trying various things, including re-install, I saw something on git hub about changing from UDP to TCP. I made the change in the configuration, then it starts working.

When it wasn't working, I was getting: TLS Error: tls-crypt unwrapping failed

Quoting from the link above:

OpenVPN Connect on my phone does not work. I had an installation working but then I have not used it for more than a year and since then I have updated my RPI to bullseye and now it will not connect

If the issue is only when using OpenVPN Connect on iOS against your server on on Pi, please report this to OpenVPN Inc. at https://support.openvpn.net

This is the right place only if the issue is with community clients used against community server.
