Fitness goals?

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. "As a former user of Google Fit, I miss not being able to set a fitness goal and track how I'm doing". Question on the direction/future of the app: Does OpenTracks intend to limit its scope to being a sports activity recording app or does it want to become a broad fitness app (with sports activity recording as one of the features) and support daily/weekly/monthly activity goals?

Describe the solution you'd like I'd like to see new features in OpenTracks to

  • set time-based activity goals. Examples
    • Goal: Walk 5km every day
    • Goal: 1h of any kind of activity every day
    • Goal: 4h of cycling every week
    • Goal: 10h of running and 10h of cycling in a month
  • define fitness milestones and monitor my progress. Examples
    • Goal: Cycle 150km. Progress: 38% (Time spent: 12h)
    • Goal: Cycle elevation gains of 5000m. Progress: 10%
    • Goal: Run 200km. Progress: 10%
    • Goal: Run for 200h. Progress: 1% (Time spent: 2h)
  • receive encouraging notifications and progress updates (gamification). Examples
    • Only 1 more kilometre to go before you hit your daily walking goal of 5km!
    • Good job! You just got 10% closer to your milestone goal of running 200km. Only 30% (60km) remaining!
    • Only 3 hours remaining! Time to go for a walk if you want to hit that daily walking goal.
  • see a dashboard with activity/goal achievement history

Additional context I'm open to supporting the product scoping and technical implementation of these features if fitness goals are within the scope of this app and someone is interested in taking this up.
