[VMMaker] In-image updater is very slow

Updating my VMMaker image after a few weeks take more than 5 minutes for me because of all the different Squeaksource it loads. For comparison, installing updates from the Trunk update stream only takes ~30 seconds. Probably the updater could be optimized in some way, maybe by parallelizing different update steps?

This might only be an occasional issue depending on how laggy the connection to the involved SqueakSource servers is. Was the update successful in the end?
