Mp4 Shot on Pixel 8. Plays fine with VLC. Sound is Distorted

Mp4 shot on Pixel 8. Plays fine with VLC. In your app, voice sounds like a fly buzzing. Downloaded and installed daily update. Same issue: Voice is exactly like a buzzing fly. Unintelligible. Verbose mode enabled. Tried FOUR times to upload log files got this incorrect message: Error: Log files are missing OpenShot version information. If you are having issues finding your log files, or if the log files are not yet created,

I've opened the logs. They exist. As for version: Whatever daily build I just downloaded today, Nov Screenshot 2023-11-19 125311 19, 2023.

I was REALLY hoping this would be an alternative to the money wasted on Vegas, which was my go to for over a decade. But since those mooks at MAGIX have ruined it, I thought I'd try this. I planned to donate if this worked but it's so far just more hassle. Pretty bummed.

Hello @Darth-Gitter. Using VLC convert the audio/video to .mp4 again (obviously with a different name) and then import that new file into OpenShot.

OpenShot is having an issue encoding some profile setting with your original .mp4. Users report this type of issue with OpenShot and running through a converter solves the issue.

@Colorjet3 is there an open ticket for this already ?

Not specifically for this. I am assigning this to the lead developer who will need to review it and decide if it is something he will improve in OpenShot.
