Question: How to adjust the volume of the video preview (playback)?

I am controlling the preview volume using my OS volume mixer right now but I'd love a more direct way.

Hello @ThatScar. You can control the volume of video/audio or just audio when the clip is on a track.

1. Select a clip on a track.
2. Right click | Volume | Entire Clip | Select a Level of your choosing.

Another way to do this is:

1. Select a clip on a track.
2. Ensure the Playhead is aligned with the left edge of your clip. This is important to avoid audio animation (a very cool feature of Openshot).
3. Right click and Select Properties.
4. From the Properties window find the Volume attribute.
5. Double click on the value of 1.00 and change it to .5 for 50% less.
