Preview volume
Question: How to adjust the volume of the video preview (playback)?
I am controlling the preview volume using my OS volume mixer right now but I'd love a more direct way.
Hello @ThatScar. You can control the volume of video/audio or just audio when the clip is on a track.
- Select a clip on a track.
- Right click | Volume | Entire Clip | Select a Level of your choosing.
Another way to do this is:
- Select a clip on a track.
- Ensure the Playhead is aligned with the left edge of your clip. This is important to avoid audio animation (a very cool feature of Openshot).
- Right click and Select Properties.
- From the Properties window find the Volume attribute.
- Double click on the value of 1.00 and change it to .5 for 50% less.
