Discussion: Claiming tune thread
Please comment below if you wish to work on a specific track, or if you have a progress update. I will make sure to edit the sheet below accordingly. I will turn it into WIP if it's a draft PR, and will turn it into Finished if it's an open PR.

If you wish to create a new song that doesn't fit any of these, or is already in game, but would fit the game, let me know and I'll add a new line. In the case one is already claimed it can become another style or a style 2 or whatever.
I've got a draft for Toyland Style; https://github.com/Ryder17z/OpenRCT2-Alternative-Music/tree/main/Toyland%20(Kindergarten) Suggested name for OpenMusic: Kindergarden or Kindergarten
There is a couple of other tracks that might fit worse or better in that same repo for OpenMusic
The other themes in that repo is: Space Theme (Placeholder: Mystery) * Ice Theme (Placeholder: Antarctica) *
- = (originally drafted before anybody was assigned to this theme, not sure if it's best to rename them or just use the placeholder names)
Misc Ride music: Nightmare - might fit the game but might not fit any existing category.
I'd like some feedback on this :-) (i haven't created a PR as I'm not quite sure how to do so)
Creating a PR works similarly to how you created that repo. Instead you will need to fork this repo. Then using github desktop (that's what I find the easiest) create a new branch on your fork, and do what I for example did in #50 with your own songs. Please one song per PR. Once you pushed your edits/additions to your branch github desktop will prompt you with creating a pull request.
I have taken a listen to your music. I do not think Toyland/Kindergarten and Misc/Nightmare fit the game. I will gladly give you some feedback in discord dm (@jalmaan).
I do think that Space/Mystery and Ice/Antactica would be a good fit.
Where do you get your samples? Are they royalty free and safe to use for CC-BY-SA 4.0?
Correct me if I am wrong but it seems that licensing should not be a problem. The tracks are all CC-BY 3.0 created by credited artist(s) - i have not made any edits.

Oh i see, hmmm I prefer working with artists directly rather than including songs that are licensed correctly for it. It gets more authentic. Then I'd prefer to not include these tracks, sorry. They'd make for perfect custom content, though.
That's fine though. It's good to have clarification on this.

I'm going to make an attempt at the organ style (also the organ style itself (not fairground organ) is public domain, as the piece is Widor's Toccata in F major)
