identifying weak syllables
Again for the purpose of an app on phonetics (not related to Rigpa but following guidelines close to the Rigpa phonetics guideline), I need to group certain things together, based on their POS. The main category that's often used in this context is "weak syllable". It should probably be defined more specifically but it contains the nominalizers (ba, pa, ma, bo, po, mo), verbalizers (byed, mdzad), negation (mi/ma), med, bral, bya, ldan and rnam (and maybe others). The issue is that some of these are ambiguous (ma for instance) and I need to know when they are weak syllables and when they are not.
@drupchen this is your domain!
