Replace symbol set replaces the same symbol set incorrectly

If you Replace symbol set with the same symbol set you assume it will stay the same. NO. In this case 508.9. changes into 508.0. (see att.)

I compared both maps and I find 508.9 in both of them. Did you attach the affected map?

The objects drawn with 508.9 are changed into objects drawn with 508.0

If you use Replace symbol set you can of course go through both columns, compare and change. The thing is - when replacing symbol set with the same symbol set you await it will be the same in both columns, which is not...

One observation: 508.9 has the same symbol name as 508.0. If you modify the name in 508.9 it will be kept.

FTR the "Symbol Mapping" button already offers two strategies:

• Match replacement symbols by symbol number.
• Match by symbol name.

Each option has reasonable use cases.
