[Feature Request] Completing the references

Open NEKolev opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

@JanisV from Portable Antiquities Scheme can be taken in an easy way (from xml or JSON) completing the references in the program. They are very well structured by the British Museum. This is a very valuable resource because it is from a museum and is probably as generic and correct as possible.

It is worth to complete the following references: Periods - have them by year. Denominations - they are linked by period and material. Mints - are linked by period Ruler - linked by period and mintage

I saw that the xml/JSON is generated with the data of only the page you are logged into, not the entire category list. I can extract them and merge them into excel files by category if you need.

There are plans to create an online reference generator, where you can select the period, the source of the flag icons, the main category (coin, banknote, stamp), etc.

I don't understand what you mean, but I'll see it in the future.
