Adding an additional field

Open NortonJack opened this issue 10 months ago • 3 comments

Adding a field next to the mint or the mint/printing house checkbox in the case of coins is the mint, in the case of banknotes. securities or other postal documents, there should also be a printing house. These are producers of a given value, but due to the material being produced, should there be a "Mint" and "Printing house" checkbox?

I would add one more field with a description of the state of preservation, it would be nice if you could mark various imperfections in the photo and create a test to determine the state of preservation.

I don’t think there’s a need to create a new field for this. At the moment, every single field can be renamed in the created collection. Of course, this works if you have separate databases for coins and banknotes. If you want them to be in one database, it won’t work. The name of each Field can be changed.

It is planned to have the ability in the image editor to be able to draw - to fence, to put arrows and so on, to mark important places on the coin that are important. You can look at this issue https://github.com/OpenNumismat/open-numismat/issues/53

Perhaps for the second point, this description for Grade might be more suitable to be added to the functionality for the catalog/auction price where the Grade will be entered https://github.com/OpenNumismat/open-numismat/issues/157
