New validation subscription doesn't fire

Describe the bug When making a change that results in a bids-validator run, the new information doesn't always update when the run is complete.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Upload a new dataset
2. See validation pending forever

Expected behavior Validation should automatically update if a run completes (usually in a few seconds, up to 1-3 minutes for larger datasets).
