Unfortunately, OpenWrt is not planned for now.

If seriously interested, please consider contributing such change in a form of PR (doesn't have to be a complete work, anything meaningful which can be used as a base helps).

Thanks for the reply. I've spent the day on it and now have it up and running in LXC. Should have it in LXD later. How do I go about submitting it? Was going to import it into private a market place.

Please open @jackblack-crtl PR here on GitHub with relevant changes in the Linux context scripts to support OpenWrt. Based on the maturity of code we can consider merging, suggesting improvements, or finish the necessary actions ourselves.
