A way to force-stop ringing instruments when the stop button is pressed

When working with long custom instruments, sometimes the tail of the sounds rings for a long time after the song is paused/stopped, making it difficult to listen to a part repeatedly. A feature to force-stop all ringing sounds when the song is paused/stopped, or perhaps stopping all sounds when the stop button is clicked for a second time, would mitigate this problem.
