Rittai Onkyou doesn't seem to work

Is Rittai Onkyou just blocks falling from the sky? The picture in Note Block Studio makes it look like a tunnel that you go through. If this is not the case, I think the picture should be changed to make it more accurate. Furthermore, there are only 6 pictures for the Visualisations, but there are 7 options.
