Is the method of FSS comparison strictly implemented as the same as the method in the paper (ARIANN: Low-Interaction Privacy-Preserving Deep Learning via Function Secret Sharing)?

Hi, I am currently studying the FSS protocol and finding a more efficient structure for comparison here starting from 40:00 where σ is saved so that the key length can be further reduced. I am wondering which comparison method SyMPC follows. Thanks!
