Plugins tutorials

Would be very useful to have a tutorial on how to write a minimal plugin for OLW. The example could be very basic as: clicking the Insert->MyPlugins will insert "It works!" in the text of the blog.

Thanks.

A bit old now, but still relevant to building a plugin, you can check out my blog series on writing plugins here http://www.liveside.net/2007/10/23/writing-windows-live-writer-plugins-a-recap/

The main difference is the reference to Live Writer that you need to add, with Open Live Writer you can add it from nuget, rather than the install folder.

Ok. That is useful. Nice to have: a link, to your post, in the tutorial page of the site ;) Thanks for the quick response.

Scott, the package in nuget is for 0.5.0... is it ok for 0.6.0 ?

I believe so, yes.
