OpenLiveWriter
unable to post openlivewriter file to blogger
I pressed F1 in openlivewriter to find Help and got directed to Github where it seemed I had to register to get help, so I did and got completely baffled. I couldn't find my way back so returned to openlivewriter, pressed F1 again and ended up here - http://openlivewriter.org/WriterRedirect/WriterHelpV3/%7B which gave a whoops 404 message.
There was a link to 'log an issue' and I got here.
I've been using openlivewriter for a blog on Blogger successfully since the demise of livewriter. Just got message 'Can't publish files - The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.' I've tried copying text to a new file and re-inserting the images, closing/opening openlivewriter but get the same problem.
However I was able to edit a recent post and it republished ok.
Googling only turns up a 10-year-old fix for livewriter. I'd love to know where to look for help - I can't find my way round GitHub, and it would be great if someone is able to reply.
Text alone posts ok - editing the post and inserting images from blogger iitself works though this takes longer and is a nuisance to move them around. Doesn't seem to be a way to crop them once in blogger. Annoying but at least it works. Would still like a way of inserting them in openlivewrite though.

Thanks bayfieldbunch - I am a bit of a novice regarding openlivewriter and blogging - do you mean insert using picasa, or cropping with Picasa before inserting? If you mean insert, I would appreciate some instructions!
when you edit your pictures in picassa, a copy auto. goes in to my pictures.
when done writin your blog in live writer, go to the top and click on insert, then pictures from computer, click on which pictures you want to insert.
