'Total Commander'-Feature "Create link on desktop" don't work with OpenLauncher

General Information

  • OpenLauncher Version: 0.7.2 (40)
  • Android Version: 8.1 Oreo
  • Custom ROM: no, BQ stock ROM (Aquaris X Pro)
  • Install Source: F-Droid
  • Specialities: rooted with Magisk, running EdXposed

Description

The established file manager Total Commander (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ghisler.android.TotalCommander&hl=de) have the ability to generate links to folders or files to be placed on the launcher's 'desktop'/screens; I guess that this is a common Android feature, so this shouldn't be a feature bound to Total Commander (but Total Commander is the tool of my choice and it's offering that feature).

When trying to add a link to the desktop/OpenLauncher screen, the following error massage is displayed: "Default launcher too old"

I found a problem about that. Pin and dynamic shortcut support don't included in OpenLauncher, also we can't add any shortcut from a user app by using old method at Android 8.0+.
