PADUS and Other Related Datasets

How can we relate RIDB to other datasets in order to provide a more rich view of the public outdoor recreation resources.

PADUS (http://gapanalysis.usgs.gov/padus/) is a national geospatial database of all protected areas, including those designated for recreation.

Is it possible to create a link between Recreation Area records in RIDB to the appropriate entities in the PADUS DB?

Also, how can we make other national datasets that contain recreation information more accessible and easily joined?
