Issue Opening OpenFAST After Installation

Hi! I recently downloaded and installed OpenFAST on my Windows system. However, when I attempt to open the application, I encounter an error that prevents me from running it. The system blocks the execution, and I am unsure how to resolve this issue.

Could you please advise on potential causes and solutions? Additionally, are there any specific installation steps or system settings I should check to ensure proper execution?

OpenFAST installation is described in https://openfast.readthedocs.io/en/main/source/install/index.html. If you have admin rights on your computer, then you should be able to allow execution. Otherwise, you'll need your system administrator to allow execution or add an exception to your antivirus software.

Dear @ruiraywu,

I'm not sure what you mean by "the system blocks the executation". Are you running OpenFAST from a command prompt or by doubling clicking on the executable? See, e.g., #463.
